I've always lived in the burbs but they are so close to the city that I can't really separate those two. </p> <p>My husband is a country boy (or wants to be!) and I just can't give in! It's one of the only things we disagree on!</p> <p>ETA: I would go visit one of my cousins who lived on a farm. She use to suggest going and playing on hay bails for fun. We are about 20 minutes from the downtown area of our city, my dh works downtown and I go down 2-3 times a week for different things. Plus, our town is super walkable while still having the perks of the suburbs (like a big yard and garage!)
