My Dad has always been a total pushover when it comes to my wants and needs. Nothing has changed now that I'm an adult supporting myself. Like @tequiero21, I'm a Mommy's girl. My Dad traveled every week for his work so he wasn't home a lot. Mom was the one who was around most of the time and I think that helped us bond more. I definitely cried while dancing at with him my wedding. He doesn't show much emotion when it comes to being sappy, but its his actions that count. For example, whenever I'm at my parents house, my Dad checks my oil and tire pressure before I leave to go home and he's constantly showing off pictures from the wedding.</p> <p>Oh, and I've seen him cry twice. Once at my grandfather's funeral and the other was when DH (then boyfriend) and I broke up. It was a messy, dramatic break-up and I was totally heartbroken.
