<description>&#60;p&#62;i don't think i am. i don't have a ton of experience managing, but i am really anal and i want things done my way because that is how people are used to seeing the work that comes out of our group. so i think my analyst thinks i'm a control freak and that i am demanding on deadlines. i need to learn how to give up control and that there are other ways to complete a project that work just as well.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I am.. though sometimes I feel like a kindergarden teacher. I might micro-manage a bit, but I'm really flexible with things, too. My theory as a manager is that if my department is organized and we're getting everything done, I could care less about coffee breaks, dress code, etc. - within reason, of course.&#60;br /&#62;
Also, everyone that I've hired has been with the company now for 5+ years, so that makes feel confident as a manager.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm actually scared to manage people.  I don't think I'd be very good at it.  I tend to be a really fast learner and I'm super efficient.  And I get VERY easily frustrated if people can't keep up with me and I tend to write them off.  I'm good at explaining things and training people, but if they don't pick it up quickly, or I have to repeat myself, I run out of patience quickly. Bad qualities, I know, but I recognize them in myself and should I ever be in a position where I manage someone more advanced than my interns hopefully I can improve??
