She'd sometimes use her right hand when she sees other people using their right hand but eventually switches back because it's probably more comfortable to her. My MIL and my father has commented numerous time about "correcting" her but I've just ignored it. My MIL corrected both my husband and his brother when they were young. I remember having to learn to bat right-handed, gold right-handed, use right-handed scissors, play guitar right-handed... there are a lot more things specially for lefties now though! Notebooks and desks still bother the crap out of me now. </p> <p>I'm a lefty and super proud of it. I think that is largely because of my grandmother's influence. She was a lefty as well, and punished in school for being one, she said that back in the 40's and 50's it was viewed as demonic to be left-handed and she would have teachers hit her or slap her for using her left-hand. E has been righty from day 1 so far. </p> <p>My dad and husband are both leftys- my dad was corrected and can do things with both hands, but writes best lefty.
