Ours also has childcare, which I really should take advantage of more now that LO is older. We tried once before and he started screaming once we were gone for a few minutes ... and they have a 10-minute rule -- LO can't be calmed in 10 mins, the parent gets called back!</p> <p>I've taken/enjoyed Zumba there. I need to get back to it. I do join my city's local community center and it's awesome! they have 5 of them and we can go to anyone we like. Each one offers something a little different, and the extra programs are usually much cheaper than joining elsewhere. I was a member for a while. I recently cancelled mine so my husband and I can join a crossfit gym together. I liked the Y. DS takes swimming lessons there which is an additional $40 for seven weeks. </p> <p>I love it because it has free childcare - and no other gym in our area does. And it's a really high-quality childcare system. He thought it seemed like a great idea for the whole family. It was, But the swim classes didn't work out for DD and other kid classes start at age 5 (she's 4). She doesn't like going to the babysitting area while I work out, although LO doesn't care since he's so small. Also They close early for me..
