When we went to visit him after his daughter was born, with all of us in the car he was the craziest, most angry and aggressive driver I've ever seen in my life. Doing 90 down the highway when the speed limit was 65, right on everyone's a$$ in the fast late and honking when they wouldn't get out of his way. I thought we were going to die and I actually refused to get in the car again if he was driving, that's how bad it was. Now I'm still vocal when driving, but it is because other people are doing those things! I have never been one to text/read/drive so that didn't change. I do catch myself getting frustrated with other drivers when I see poor choices, especially if they have children in the car. I am a defensive driver; but I never tailgated before LO (tailgating annoying the hell out of me) and I always wear my seat-belt and use my turn signal (another pet peeve of mine haha). When LO is with me I do speed less and run fewer yellows and I try to never text/check email while I drive. When she isn’t with me; I still do all the things I’m not supposed to do, including texting. I drive pretty much the same. I didn't really do most of the things you listed but I wouldn't consider myself a super safe goody-goody driver either. I still drive over the speed limit, run yellows on occasion, and 'encourage' slower cars to move over when they're driving in the wrong lane :).
