I tend to be conservative with my spending, and I prefer to buy things on sale but I'm not really a bargain shopper either. As in I hate yard sales, and I don't coupon. I'd say hubs is more of a spender than I am.</p> <p>Also, what's the point of working your ass off if you don't get to enjoy the things you spend your money on? I just went on a spending spree the last few weeks because I needed to get some new clothes to wear to work (but I hadn't bought anything suitable for work for probably 2-3 years!).</p> <p>I can be cheap with some things though. There are just some things I don't see the point in spending money on. Like the Container Store. I don't get it!!! I buy the ugly bins from Walmart or Target or Daiso and spend way way way less. We put money into savings and retirement before we touch it; both of those savings per month are non-negotiable; as is paying all of our bills in full each month.
