I love tea! For Christmas, my friend just gave me a delicious loose leaf herbal tea called Blueberry Merlot from Tea Forte. It has rose hips, blueberries, hibiscus and sage -- very calming. I also love Sleepytime Tea at night. On the caffeinated side, I like earl grey or green tea with peach or pomegranate. Now I want tea! :-)

@.twist.: David's tea has the genmaicha/ green tea with roasted rice- it's good! The mojito tea I had was a Tetley one!
@Hope: I like Teavana, but our city just got a David's Tea, and I like that better I think.

Late to this thread, but I love tea! English Breakfast blend, Darjeeling, and Earl Grey are my favorites (with milk and sugar). Got DH addicted to tea as well, but he loves the fancy/expensive ones from Teavana.

You should be able to find it at an asian grocer. Look for the tea with the stuff that looks like popcorn in it.

@gingerbebe: wow! you really know your teas! :D

@TRAVELGIRL1: with a few shots of Bailey's? HAH! Jk. I like myself a good, big cup of tea after any type of trouble. ;)

@BLUESTRIPED BEE: all we have here for fancy iced tea is lipton's. There might be others but nothing super fancy like I'm always hearing about in the USA.

@sunny: oooh, that roasted rice green tea sounds pretty tasty. I wonder if I can find that here!? Also, your friend, green tea with sugar?

@mae: earl grey is my fav! Report back with your thoughts! :D

@LOVEISSTRANGE: I have never even heard of the second type of tea in that fancy earl grey. I have so much learning to do in the tea world.

@BOHEME: those tea canisters remind me of a tea pot I have and you buy special tea bags which BLOOM in the water. They are gorgeous!

@SLEEPYMONKEY: I love honey in my tea. Much tastier than sugar.

@Espion: I find tea (even of the black variety) to be much more calming. I want to relax and read a book or curl up by a fire. I don't drink coffee but I feel like it is a power drink. DRINK AND GET DONE ALL THE THINGS! hahaha

@Mrs. J: @BakerBee: Thanks for the tip ladies! I will make sure to mention it the next time I go for some tazo chai!

@MapleMoose: I am like you. A simple kind of tea lover. Tried and true.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: Those are some fancy teas! The mojito green sounds REALLY interesting. I'd love to try that one.

I love tea but am by no means a tea guru or even adventurous with my tea flavors. I tend to stick to the tried-and-true staples like Red Rose, Tazo green tea, and Twinings Irish breakfast or Lady Gray. I drink them hot or cold, usually black but I'll add milk to hot tea occasionally.

I did get wild once and bought coconut rum tea in the airport on my way home from a trip to the Bahamas. :silly:

@.twist.: I love the SB tazo chai latte - addict tip: ask for no water, so much more flavor! A barista told me to order it this one day and I've never looked back.

I settle for the Keurig Cafe Escapes chai latte - but it pales in comparison.

I love coffee, but I love tea, too! My favorites are Darjeeling or Assam, but I also love, love, love my green ginger (Tazo). I even love the green tea that pretty much tastes like grass clippings. I never put milk or sugar in my coffee or tea.

Yes, I looooove loose leaf tea, and I would like to figure out how to add herbs from my garden to it. I have a bunch of lemon balm and some varieties of mint growing wild. My favorite tea is the Necessiteas Hawaiian blend - lots of dried pineapple pieces!

I use one of these glasses so that I can drink it anywhere. It has a built in strainer.
