I would never have been one, but I was raised by a mother with a serious anxiety disorder who really tried to teach me that the world was a scary, bad place - so I'm even less inclined to seek out scary or exciting experiences. I wanted something different for my children, so I made sure to marry someone who is a big old thrill seeker. </p> <p>A few months ago I watched him ride his bike on our local velodrome for the first time and just about wanted to run away. But my daughter is eager to do it now, so I guess I got what I wanted! The whole time I thought "why would my mom ever let me do this!??!" I like other things, though, that some people dont, like tubing behind a boat and getting whipped around and thrown off, or going crazy on a jet ski. That sort of stuff is fun to me.
