My husband's entire immediate family is dead. His sister from breast cancer, his mom from heart disease, and his dad from complications related to diabetes. My husband is in pretty good health, but the prevalence of diabetes in his family (on both sides) makes him nervous. We're quite the pair! We used to joke that we met in a pharmacy because we're always taking so many meds. </p> <p>I'm terrified my LO will get either of these, but I feel like she'll be more prone to migraines since it's more common in girls. I hate to think that she'll have to go through this pain. I've seen how my migraines have effected my mom over the years, she gets so upset by them and she doesn't even know the pain because she's never had one. The only thing that makes me feel a little better about it is that by the time she starts getting them there might be more advanced medical help for her. </p> <p>Anybody else scared they're going to pass down something bad to their LO? </p>
