DH is pretty much Dem though. I don't agree with either party really but usually vote Democrats because I have bigger issues with the Republicans. I just switched my registration to R for this election, mostly so I could vote for my preferred state senate candidate. We are both "unenrolled" according to NY state law meaning that we are not members of a political party, although I tend to vote Democratic since there are not other options that reflect my political leanings. DH is much more liberal now than when we met. I would consider him center-left especially with his pro-business leanings.
