My Mandarin is terrible, but I can understand a lot of it. Although, I only have a 1st grade reading and writing comprehension. I studied Italian for a while and knew a lot when I lived there for a summer, but now it's mostly gone. I can still pick up a few things when I hear it in conversation though. I've been really bad about speaking to LM in only Chinese. We speak to her in English.
