I agree that I don't get that engorged rock hard feeling anymore but still pump almost the same amount.

Usually if I notice a decrease its due to stress or lack of water.

I def did not drink much water this morning. I get sooo thirsty throughout the day and nights. I go to bed now with a glass of water. Doesnt help that I'm only allowed to drink warm water right now. Blegh.

Better start guzzling that water!!

kellymom.com just had an article recently about how after a couple months you're making the same amount of milk, but your breasts don't get engorged and hard anymore. I find that on days when I don't drink enough water, I don't make as much milk when I pump.

I feel like I'm running dry today. Yesterday within an hr after a feeding (at 10am) I pumped and got 1.5 oz. Today 1.5 hrs after a feeding at 11:30 I pumped and got barely anything. Just tried to nurse her (3hrs since last nursing) and my boons were still soft and I didn't hear a ton of sucking. Usually by 3hrs I notice my boobs start to get hard.

Do you have days where you feel your supply is low??
