I work from home, so don't feel that pressure to get to the office at a specific time. So there is only one way to get there. The actual street where my daycare is located has the daycare, an elementary school, and a middle school on it. If we don't get there before 8, the entire area backs up with parents dropping off kids and school buses (who have a hard time navigating through all the construction!) If we leave the house any later than 745, we will be late to work (have to be there by 9). Getting out of that area and getting on the road to work takes even more time than the house-to-daycare part. We usually settle for being within a few minutes of 9 am either way. I would love to make dropoffs closer to 8 am, but Olive has been sleeping in and so that's not possible now. (Olive actually wakes up super early but Bee's able to get her back down and then she sleeps in.) Maybe later though. Are you early, on time or late to childcare dropoff in the mornings?
