@anewme: totally get you! having ds has totally help me to center, focus my energies on him and our family. i do what i can to help when it doesn't interfere with our life. and i feel so much less burden from it. but i also do occassionally fight pangs of guilt when something comes up with extended family etc. and yep, still the glue that holds everyone together! @MrsRoo: thank you!

I would say yes I am, but less than I used to be. I used to take on everyone's problems and issues and it made my life pretty dramatic at times. But since having children, they've really centered and focused me to channel my energy into my own life and let people live theirs. I'm sooo much happier for it. But I'm still the person who plans, who gets ppl together, that's just a quality I'm born with and problem won't change. I love it anyway

I wouldn't say I'm easily invested in people, but once I get to know someone, I'm extremely invested. It just takes a while for me to warm up to someone. But once I do, I'm deeply invested.

@mrsjyw: I think it's a great quality to have!

my family and friends have always told me that i have a lot of attachment to people that enter my life. i'm usually the one that gets family getogethers going or even scheduling friend dates when out of town friends come back home, etc.

i hate/love it about myself. i sometimes wish i didn't care so much, but oftentimes that is where i find my happiness :)
