I think the only disappointing part was that I felt like a little *too much* was resolved and there aren't many storylines that have me anxiously awaiting next season (although I'll still watch!). I'm excited to see what happens with Edith's baby though. From the first episode when Edna got Anna in trouble, I was like "really? AGAIN??". The rape really upset me, and I'd like them just to be happy already. </p> <p>@MUI831: I *think* Edna had hit on Branson a few times right after Sybil died, so Mrs. Hughes booted her but still gave a reference. I feel like they brought her on to bring back some of the young/carefree "spirit" that was lost with Sybil but I just don't connect with her character the same way. So far this season is kinda 'meh' for me... I mean, it's still very good, but I'm not enjoying it as much as the first 3 seasons. </p> <p>Edna, I cannot stand. The guy was cute and sweet, but her husband just died 6 months (or so) earlier. I know they are trying to be honest about history and abuse and how women felt, but I don't know if she would have been so explicit with Mrs. Hughes back in the day. Didn't expect to! I think the Anna storyline is important in that it is honest. I also like Mary's new love interest. I think they are playing it better than I expected. The only downside is the Branson storyline. Seems a little convoluted/clunky to me! I also enjoy seeing Violet and Isobel become friends. </p>
