Her DD and my DD have continuously moved up classrooms together (Education based Childcare center). The Mom is Active duty military and went through a big event with DH where we got to know her even more. We don't hang out a lot. Their hours were 6:30 to 6:30 so there was a wide range of drop off and pick up times. It also was in an odd location so there were a lot of various work/home locations of the families that went there. </p> <p>At this new school, its a much shorter window (7:30-5:30) so it caters to people that work down town. I have an awesome mom squad that I met through our day care :silly: We group text 9,000 times a day and hang out pretty much all the time. We all went to one house after school on Monday for a play date, one of them is coming to my house tomorrow with her husband and daughter so they can babysit my kids while my husband and I go on a date. A friend and I also organized a dinner for all the moms in the preschool class because there were quite a few we hadn't met yet. She and I are still friends and it is a great relationship. I don't seem to have much in common with a lot of the moms at my daughter's current school. I'm okay with that. We don't live near her school so I figure I will probably meet more moms closer to our home when she starts K. </p>
