Not planning on keeping anything. But, dreading those pesky low ballers. The ones you're encountering seem so rude because your prices are a steal!

I plan on getting rid of as much as possible. We aren't going to be in any sort of forever home for years to come, and we have very little storage. Our next move will be international and I can't justify carrying that stuff along with us. I might consider keeping the Legos though. My dad kept mine and we've just given them to DS, which is neat.

@Mamaof2: I like that idea!

Probably will do that with the Uncle Goose blocks and nice wooden toys. Hope she'll want to keep her BlaBla dolls, if not, I'll store them for future grandkids. Most everything else I think I will sell or hand-me-down to friends/family.

It seriously deters me from selling stuff too when people try to lowball so hard. I think there is better luck selling things in smaller groups or individually even, like the Zany Zoo, play food, learning toys. I think stuffed animals end up just being donated.

I passed a long some things as a result of our last move, but I haven't done a purge since. I plan to keep a lot of the stuff, my mom kept some of my things and I am happy to have them. One of them is a piece of a mobile when I was a baby, it is now a tree ornament.

I kept a few, but passed most of them on to friends who had a baby this past summer.

Like others above I'd save a box of classic and easy to clean toys. For ones that don't fall into that category I'd probably save for hand-me-downs. My friend's daughter is two years older than DD and we got a TON of toys from her that DD loves!

@Bao: We have a local FB "classifieds" group and it's crazy how much people try to talk down the prices on stuff! They expect everything to be SO cheap - it baffles me. There are some good deals to be had, but there are also people on there who try to sell ONE pair of socks for 50 cents! Who is going to meet up with a stranger to buy a pair of used socks?? lol

I agree with @mamaof2 my sister has all the toys I recognize from my childhood for my 2 nephews, Mom gave them to her. I hope she sends some to me when her boys are done with them. But I would just keep the highest quality/most durable ones and get rid of the rest. Don't keep more than one box.

I think I'm going to keep anything that's not electronic, and can stand up against time (prob won't keep baby dolls with hair - those have been pulled out of MIL's attic and are nasty!!)
@Bao: People for sure get ridiculous on FB and CL. It can be really obnoxious and off-putting

@Bao: for future grandkids I kept classics that can be cleaned - stacking toys, blocks, ball popper, etc

And my favorite books :heart:

I just went through the girls toys and boxed up some infant toys. I put them up for sale on a local site for less than $2 each (some toys are as much as $34 each) and people are offering me less than half of what I'm asking. It's becoming annoying so I thought maybe just storing them instead. We have the space but I'm not sure if that makes sense or if I should just let them go because they do me no good just sitting here...

Are you going to get rid of baby toys once your LO outgrows them or keep them? Maybe keep favorites?
