@TurtleDoves: omg conditioner, I didn't even think of that, can't go near the stuff, even 2 in 1, not a chance!

DH does bathtime with her, his words he does a "light wash" every other day and a "heavy" wash opposite days with her hair, hahaha.

@Beebug: wtf does train your hair mean?!
I need to train my hair ASAP because I'm a greaseball if I go near conditioner or ,heavens forbid, don't wash my hair on a daily basis.
Regarding your babe, I'd wash everyday at her age because of drool and spit up and all the stuff she will probably put into her hair. I think it would be impossible to go 4 days!

@mrskc: Me too, I couldn't have anything but a ponytail and hat day the second day if I dared not wash!

Never heard of it. How does one train their hair? I have to wash everyday b/c my hair gets greasy.

i don't think i purposely trained my hair (it was more laziness than anything) but i can go 3 days without washing and it still looks good.

I didn't realize there was a term for this. I am good going 4 days without washing. I have gone a full week but that's big time pushing it. I find it's either super greasy or super dry if I wash it sooner than 3 days.

I've trained my hair to go 2-3 days without washing. My hair has never been healthier!

I have oily hair if I don't wash it at least every other day. I have heard of "training" before and tried it - it didn't work.. Mind you . I think I did it for a month (trying to only wash every other day or every 2 days). I was sick of being a greaseball. To be honest - it wouldn't be worth it to me to have greasy hair for 8 years :\. Although, I admit that I am very jealous of people that CAN go 4 days without washing!

I usually only wash my hair every 2-3 days, and LO's maybe once a week, or when he gets food in it. Mine only gets greasy on the third day. Does she never wash it at all?

I don't use shampoo on DD's hair and it's always fresh and lovely looking.
I just rinse it with water.
I used to be super greasy if I didn't wash my hair every day. I can go 3 days before my hair gets really nasty now.

My LO has a boatload of hair, but did lose probably half of what she had when she was born.

Naturally, when we are out and about, her hair is a discussion topic.

I was at Carters, and there were two ladies at the checkout and the one who was helping fold asked me if I was going to train LOs hair.

I was like....what?

I have a lot of hair and have to wash every day otherwise I am a grease ball, this lady who asked the question also had lots and her hair looked AMAZING and she said she was on day four not washing it. The other cashier and I were in awe. She said she used to be a hair stylist and it took about 8 years to train her hair to not need to be washed. She said I should look into it for LO and perhaps train her hair.

I wont lie, I probably wont train her hair, but I was sort of intrigued. Anyone ever done this, or think this is doable?
