It is untamable and never grows enough to do anything with! I camouflage with the flat iron if my hair's down, or try to hairspray it back if my hair is up. At which point I pray it doesn't stick back up again and look even more ridiculous with the hairspray. I can't find a good solution :p</p> <p>Anyway, I'm decent with the messy bun itself, but the front of my hair/receding hairline makes it not look super put-together. It looks better when I wear a headband with the messy bun. And the bun stays better if I have some (dried) mousse in my hair to hold onto something, because my hair is medium-thick but fine, straight and smooth. Especially considering its hot as heck here most of the time and I only wash my hair once or twice a week, I need some kind of skill to not look like a sweaty zombie! Haha </p>
