It was the same for me. I did hear keeping pump parts in the freezer for the day helps reduce cleaning time! I hate napping!

This was always so hard for me too. If I did manage to sleep I always woke up really groggy for the feed / diaper / nap cycle to begin again. Also, there was so little time to get anything done, so often those precious minutes before the next feed were spent washing some dishes, eating a small meal, taking a shower... or anything to make me feel like life was somewhat in control. I was exhausted and so badly wanted to "sleep when the baby slept", but I had no idea how to pull it off and still tend to the few things that absolutely had to get done around the house.

Hahahahaha.... No.
I always think that is the worst advice to give new parents.
The only part of "sleep when the baby sleeps" that we followed was when we would put LO down for the "night". We would go straight to bed, because we knew we would get at least 3-4 hours before he would wake up the first time.

I used to be terrible at it but I'm much better at it now (five months on, lol). Today she got up for the day at 6.30am but went back down at 9am for a blissful two hour nap. You can bet your life I went down for that nap with her!

I try and make myself at least once a day. Usually that means I nap with her on me so she gets at least one good nap a day.

I never do this. Too much to get done! Also, now she naps mainly in my arms while I sit in uncomfortable positions. :)

I try, but I find most of the time I don't sleep and if I get 30 min I usually feel sleepier. So more often I rest when the baby sleeps.

No I never slept when baby slept. There was always too much to do and by the time I laid down he would be waking up again.

I always forced myself to and it paid off...I would highly recommend it! Even 30 or 45 min is better than nothing.

I'm terrible at sleeping when he sleeps! He's on an eating every 3 hours schedule and by the time I finish changing him, feeding him, pumping, and washing the pump parts and a few bottles, there's only about an hour til he needs to be fed again so it's hard to go lay down for an hour.
