@My Only Sunshine: I think maybe not as many people have taken this one yet. Or something like that. If you click on the links for the previous ones, the percentages are more varied. I think I scored better than 60% or something on the previous one.

This was interesting - I used to want to be a copy editor! But I think the scoring is broken. No matter how many tries I took on a question it told me i did better than 99% of people.

@MrsSRS: That was my score too! What disturbed me the most is that I would read some of the sentences and just not see any problems at all.

I took 20 tries. One I knew but since it was a phrasing issue, I couldn't figure out what word to touch. So really it should've been 18. These were hard. I was an English major and am a teacher.

If you just count the ones I got on the first try, I got a 60%...an F 😕

@mrbee: I was sort of trying to go fast because I'm off to run an errand but I'm pretty sure the median score is wrong. No way is that better than 99%..it's worse than everyone on this thread so far, lol!!

It took me 20 tries. I was stumped on a few of them! I admit I guessed right on a couple.

A lot of the errors I had- I was like, doh!! Oh yah-right!! I still make a lot of mistakes when I type on the phone vs. on my computer. As an elem. teacher, I tend to overlook a lot of grammatical errors to get to the heart of the message, depending on what aspect I am grading. It has made my grammar considerably more imperfect over the years as my error-alarm has been muted so often. (eta:grammar corrections)

I always thought I was decent at copy editing, but this quiz was hard:
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/03/10/insider/copy-edit-this-quiz-4.html

When I finished taking the quiz, the webpage said that the median score is zero. Zero!! I did better than that, but overall had a failing grade. How did you do?
