Usually my headaches and migraines usually include sensitivity to looking at the screens so working is really tough.

For me, pain generally means a migraine, and it is pretty much impossible for me to work through one of those.

If it is a regular headache, or something like low back pain (mine isn't too bad), I can manage. I haven't experienced pregnancy pain, yet!

@mrbee: Ooh headaches are a tough one - if it's the early stages I'll be okay, but once I can feel it heading towards migraine territory and I'm super sensitive to sights and sounds, I'm like you and can't focus on anything.

I can work pretty well through pregnancy pains though, stuff like round ligament pain and what I've seen some of us call 'lightening crotch'. Pretty much just because I had to when I was pregnant with L and working full time - it wasn't easy though because it was a job where I was on my feet walking around like 95% of the time. I think there was more pressure to push through though since I didn't want to leave my team short-handed. I always felt guilty since it's not like the pregnancy was going to end anytime soon, and it's not like getting sick since I chose to get pregnant...that probably sounds stupid but it's what would always go through my head! Haha.

Nope, I'm good at sleeping when in pain. :silly:

If I must, I pop an ibuprofen, and that helps me get through working while in pain.

When I have a headache, I have a lot of trouble concentrating to do difficult tasks. But I can do things like work out or do the dishes, no problem. Unfortunately though, most of my work requires concentration so a headache means I don't get much work done!

Are you good at working while you're in pain? Any tips for working through the pain?
