This is the first year LO is old enough to enjoy it (18 months) and she is just so sweet, excited, and charming. We were in the ER all day yesterday because she couldn't stop throwing up :( but everyone was so nice and helpful and they gave her stuffed animals and loved her so much. She didn't even cry when they took her blood, poor girl.</p> <p>Anyway, we needed a ride home from the hospital and my uncle came and rescued (it felt like a rescue) us. It was just really nice and my dad had been the emergency contact (and he would have been there stat) but he just passed away, so it was really awesome of his brother to come to the hospital. It just made me feel really good.
