I was severely lactose intolerant from childhood up until I was pregnant with LO. I can drink 2% milk without problems but I still must eat fat free yogurt. SIGH.

Gosh lots of lactose intolerant people! I love milk and dairy and guzzle it down. So far LO seems fine with dairy as well.

Everyone in my family has a mild lactose intolerance. Rob Sr. has a little as well. I've heard that adults aren't supposed to drink milk anyway (like how adult cats don't actually drink milk). But who knows.

Wagon Jr. is still fine with cow's milk. He drinks 2% right now. We drink Lactaid or the store brand lactose reduced milk. It's actually really yummy!

I am lactose intolerant. I've been that way since birth, but it got really bad about 7 years ago. But for some reason during pregnancy, it gets better and I can eat cheese and ice cream!

I've never had cow's milk before. My parents assumed I was lactose intolerant because my siblings were. I can have dairy, just in small doses. If I have too much, it's not pretty so I guess I am a little lactose intolerant lol

I have a mild intolerance, but can eat cheese/yogurt, just not straight-up milk. LO I'm not sure yet but seems to be ok with dairy so far, although he hasn't had cow's milk yet.

Yes, I'm lactose intolerant but my hubs isn't. My son isn't either, as far as we can tell. I wonder when babies develop lactose intolerance? From birth?

No, but for some reason I can only drink fat free milk. I get a huge tummy ache from the milk fat. But I can drink as much of fat free as I want. I think it's animal fat in general that bothers my tummy. LO doesn't seem to have an intolerance.

I'm similar to you. I'm not lactose intolerant, but if I don't drink/eat dairy for awhile and consume it later, there's some disturbances in the belly. However, it goes away later on with more consumption.

I was more intolerant when I was younger. Milk would give me really bad stomach pains. My mom never believed me and made me drink a glass of milk every morning before school. I don't drink a lot of milk as an adult but the times I do, it doesn't bother me as it used to. LO doesn't have any intolerance it seems.

Yes, I became mildly lactose intolerant in my 20's and my LO is allergic to all dairy. According to what I've researched, she got it from me - repeated antibiotic use in my 20's destroyed the good bacteria in my gut and that unhealthy gut flora was passed on to my LO :(

I'm mildly lactose intolerant...I can eat yogurt, cheese and ice cream but cannot drink milk or soft serve without suffering. LO is still exclusively breastfed but I am going to have to watch her bc I think she has weird poo when I eat dairy but I can't really tell bc I have been avoiding dairy since her weird poo...too afraid to test it out bc I will feel bad for her if she has a bad poo bc of what I ate

I have a mild lactose intolerance. If I don't drink milk for a while and then have a glass, I am asking for some trouble! But if I drink it every day I seem to be ok with it. I ate some yogurt today after not having dairy for a while, and there is a rumble in the bronx right now!

I think Charlie did have a mild lactose intolerance as well because his vomiting greatly reduced since we switched him to soy. I'm wondering if Olive will have be lactose intolerant too!
