We both held our breath at our first appointment when they did an ultrasound because it definitely could have been twins. It was a single baby this time. But that being said, we are currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant today through IUI and clomid and are anxiously waiting the first ultrasound to find out if there's just a singleton in there or more. </p> <p>Mostly I'm terrified at the thought of having two infants (or worse, two toddlers!) at the same time but there's a small part of me that kinda wants it to happen for some reason. According to the doctor, family history and age are huge factor in conceiving fraternal twins. Apparently your chances of releasing two eggs when you ovulate are higher the older you get. </p> <p>I was terrified of the idea at first but now I actually hope it happens again. Go figure. Before we tried getting pregnant again DH made me look up all the stats on the likelihood of having twins again. "Please Dr. Tell me it is only one in there!!!"
