A lot of things didn't go as hoped, but it could have been (significantly) worse, and at least I did the best I could. There's a lot of uncertainty for us going into 2017, and I try not to take anything for granted. I fell and my front teeth flew out of my mouth when DS hit me with his bike from the back earlier in the year. Then I recently fell when ice skating and my back still hurts. DH has trouble with his work and having a hard time finding a new job. This makes me very anxious. DS is fine though, thankfully. The things I'm not super excited about are living on a drastically reduced salary and solo parenting two kids a good majority of the time (DH works a ton).
