I was watching the NBC today show this morning and they had a story about a 40 something mother of three who has been diagnosed with ALS. She did a year of happiness with her husband and children to make sure they have positive memories before she becomes too unwell to do things with them. With the oldest daughter, who was 14, they went to NYC and the daughter tried on wedding dresses at Kleinfeld so the mother could see her little girl in a wedding dress, knowing she won't be there when the daughter does actually get married. I was sobbing, absolutely sobbing - and poor DD looked at me like I was crazy when I scooped her up and just hugged her as tight as I could. </p> <p>So yes, to answer your question, I am a thousand times more emotional following DD's birth than I was before.....and I've always been an emotional person who is affected by tragic stories so now I'm just a big sappy puddle of mush half the time. I started tearing up and crying while hearing the story. DH looked at me and asked me if I was pregnant. I told him I am just more emotional now. Is anyone else more emotional post birth of LO? </p>
