Without a doubt.

With LO #1 I was aaaaaall about routine. This time around, I'm more go with the flow. Consequently, DD seems more go with the flow. I should probably try to be a bit more consistent with her schedule but honestly it's really hard to when I have her big brother to keep up with.

I hope I get more laid back. I'm only 8 weeks pregnant with #2 and I'm way more worried/anxious about everything this time around. Last time I don't remember worrying about anything during pregnancy. Lots of rules but no worries.

Absolutely!!!!! I think her first taste of real food was a honey dipped donut. I don't think Wagon Jr. tasted sugar until he was past 2 years old.

Yes - I think parenting wise I'm pretty laid back in general. But with the 2nd, I don't worry as much. It's such a great feeling. Honestly, I'm enjoying him more because I'm not worried about how he sleeps or eats. I just enjoy every bit of him!

Absolutely more relaxed. Still a stickler for sleep schedules but that's for my own sanity. Way more relaxed about what she eats, about putting things in her mouth, etc. She stole her brother's juice yesterday and I just laughed. Big bro didn't even have juice until he was 1.5!

I was pretty laid back with N. I am still pretty laid back with E too. My kids are pretty great most of the time. I will admit that N sometimes gets way more screen time then I would prefer.

WAY more laid back. I was really high strung about feeding, sleeping, scheduling, screen time etc. with LO1. We still have rules and restrictions, but both my kids are easy and super well behaved so I have loosened up a ton.

I hope I am more laid back in the first three months with LO2! That was definitely my most high strung time with LO1!

Yes, definitely. I took myself and parenting too seriously the first time around. There are a lot of ways to raise kind and respectful kids.

And the amount of Halloween candy my 1 year old has eaten the last week would never have happened with #1!

With LO1 I felt I was pretty laid back, but a little bit more "by the book" than I am with LO2. There are things I do with LO2 I wouldn't have imagined doing with LO1. Maybe it was me just being a first time parent and feeling a bit more nervous about parenting, since it was all so new.

On the other hand, there are a couple of things that I'm actually more conscious about the second time around. I've learned a little bit more over the past couple years by talking to others or doing research.

If you have more than one child, do you feel you are more relaxed about certain things with your second LO?
