We are switching preschools in the fall, and I'm very nervous. There are a number of reasons for the switch, but none have to do with not liking the old preschool, so it's making me second-guess myself that I'm making him switch. I think overall he'll like it, but if moving houses is any indication, I'll hear "I miss my old school" for a few months before he really settles in.

I'm a little nervous. He never had a problem with drop offs but he did have huge potty issues. He was supposed to be potty trained before he went last year but because he was so young when he started (2.5, youngest in the class) they let him start even though we all knew he wasn't 100% trained yet. They figured he'd pick it up pretty quickly after seeing all the other kids use the potty. Well, nope. We were lucky that the teachers dealt with it all year but they told us they wouldn't allow him back this year if he wasn't potty trained. We've had a great summer and he is doing SO well but I'm nervous that he might regress or have trouble transitioning to using their potty. School has been so great for him, I'd be devastated if they asked us not to come back.

Fingers crossed it will go well for all of our kids!

Yes, I am. Transitions are difficult for my son and we're at a brand new school with all new friends this year.

I'm excited for LO to start school again, but she really struggled with drop offs last year. She cried at 90% of them, so it made for a stressful time....for both of us. I'm hoping this isn't an issue this year, since she is older now but in the back of my mind I'm still nervous about it. Plus she will be in a school with "big kids" and an overall much larger school, so I have that on my mind as well. Parenting...always something to worry about! ;)
