We're always nice to each other. We are always thinking of each other. Yesterday I went back to work so hubs picked up my favorite ice cream for dessert to make my day better.

We're very nice to each other most of the time, although we both are very honest, so we will bring up our feelings about something even if it isn't nice. But we're polite and do things just to make the other one happy on a regular basis. We both think it's important to be respectful to each other and our children, so they will learn from example to be respectful to others.

As far as just plain nice, my husband usually sleeps in on Sundays when I go to church, but I asked him if he would go with me this month for advent and Christmas, so he has. And after church this past Sunday, he and my daughter left and I stayed to teach Sunday school, and when he came back to pick me up, he had put gas in my car and gone to the cupcake store to buy me cupcakes. I love nice little surprises like that!

We made it a goal a long time ago to never take eachother for granted, and after 9 years of being together, we still go out of our way to tell eachother how much we appreciate and love them. When I'm grouchy, I try to not say anything at all, because I know it's probably my issue (hungry, tired, stressed) and not something he is doing.

DH and I were at his Aunt and Uncle's house a few weeks ago. They have 3 kids and they bicker constantly (always have). DH was helping one of the kids with a puzzel and I said to him "you're the best." His Uncle looked at us and said "I don't think 'Aunt' has said that to me in 10 years." DH replied "Really? TJBee says it to me everyday." I was so proud!

Not all the time! No shame in admitting you're not a perfect couple. My husband and I have an autistic 3 year old, and while we love her to death, she can and does put a strain on our patience with each other. We have to work every day on the little things. "Thank you honey" goes a long way!

I always try to be nice to my DH, it's the little things, like saying "please" and "thank you" when he does something extra, or telling him how important he is to me that really brighten his mood. I know DH is always doing little things he thinks I'll like, like making me my favorite breakfast before I wake up.

We're nice to each other the majority of the time ..everybody has their bad days though. He's always been such a gentleman towards me, opening my car door, etc. That's why I fell in love with him!

Yes. He is always nicer than I am but we are nice to one another. Saying please and thank you or, you look good today go a long way. On Sunday, we had 3 hours to get ready for a party I was hosting. He worked the whole time, without me asking, to make sure the house looked good. That's pretty nice. :-)

We're usually very nice to each other but he's probably nicer the majority of the time, as I tend to get crabby easier. He also says please and thank you regularly whereas, I forget to.

We use to be that couple, the one that never fought or disagreed. Now it feels like all we do is argue and disagree, it's very sad. I try to be nice and thoughtful but it ends up not mattering. I wish we could go back a couple years, maybe it's stress.

@chopsuey119 it is a lot of layers. I like to be really toasty when falling asleep and then I wind up throwing them all off during the night.

My husband is very nice. Last night I decided to go to bed before he did. While I was finishing things up on the computer he went to our bedroom and fixed up my side of the bed the way I like it. Our room is the coldest in the house so I get under a throw blanket, then the sheets, then the quilt, and finally an electric blanket on top. That probably doesn't sound like much, but he does little things like that all the time.

I think he is much nicer than me. And more thoughtful.

We're nice to each other about 99.9% of the time! We say please a lot. :)
I don't know what's up today, but we were both pissy and almost had a falling out while giving our LO a bath. :D
