@betsyboop: LOL. My sweet tooth was triggered by that darn Glucola drink, too! I usually have a big sweet tooth, but the pregnancy cured in until that dumb drink.

@winniebee: I too was fairly good about eating healthy until I found out I passed my GTT a couple weeks ago. After that, all I want to eat are candy, cookies, and all things sweet!

I have yet to gain weight, but I am not eating the healthiest of options, but it is so hard for me. Whatever appeals to me seems to be carbs. I hope after the first trimester, my normal appetite comes back and salads and veggies start to appeal to me.

I'm only just finishing my first tri, but so far I'm not. I find that I get full really quick, though earlier on I was ravenous. I'm sure it'll change, though!

Kind of....I try to eat really healthy snacks throughout the day but I'm constantly hungry. I give into temptation much more frequently now, too, regrettably. At 28 weeks, I've gained about 16-17 pounds (I had gained 16 by 26 weeks, 4 days, but then lost a pound/stayed even for a week because of a stomach bug....)

No. :( I'm gaining like I am, and I am eating a granola bar and maybe an extra apple more than normal, but no. And still with the weight gain.

Yes. Sweets are killing me. I was looking at my knees today and realized, I've gained some weight in my legs for sure. I actually stepped on our home scale today and I think it's broken... It's an old analog one, could be broken, right? :-) Well, we'll see what the docs scale says on Thursday at my 26 week appointment.

I'm hungry all the time and I confess I give in to the bad foods a little too often. I had a doughnut for breakfast today, but I packed a salad for lunch, so it all balances out, right??? I'm actually terrified of getting gestational diabetes, but I love candy so much and with Halloween I have been eating a lot of it.

I wish! I had so many food aversions for most of my pregnancy, and I had almost no appetite. By the time I started getting the munchies, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Boo!! I didn't get to pig out like I wanted to. :(

I'm still in the first trimester but I'm doing ok so far. Last week and the beginning of this week I was so sick I was eating carbs round the clock! Luckily I'm on meds now and can eat normal food again, so I'm back to eating more balanced meals. I am enjoying my share of leftover Halloween candy though!

I'm only in the first trimester so I'm sure I'll get worse but I've been so good lately, mostly because anything that sounds good is something crazy, that takes forever to cook or is at a restaurant an hour away. I've still managed to pack on the pounds.
Last pregnancy, I ate everything in site (that was safe) and I just never stopped. Luckily I lost 55 pounds after delivering the LO!

I'm always hungry, but can eat only a little at a time. I've just been grazing instead of eating real meals. I'm not eating terribly, but nothing looks appetizing, so I've been sticking with things like potatoes since they're bland. 15+ weeks and haven't gained anything yet.

I am having a new experience this week (21 weeks) where I am constantly hungry. I will eat what i normally do and be starving again an hour later. Early in my pregnancy I felt like I wasn't very hungry and didn't feel like snacking, but that feeling has passed as of this week.

I've been doing a good job of not going crazy, but to be fair it hasn't been that hard. I'm 18 weeks and have found that I'm just not as hungry as I was before I got pregnant. And sweets? Not interested. So bizarre! I actually lost around 10 pounds in my first trimester and I'd be surprised if I've gained it back yet. (I'm sure I will as time goes on though.) It does help that most of my cravings have been for American fast food that I can't get here in the UK...

When I was pregnant, I was put on a dietary plan where I had to eat 6 times a day, very specific types of items (2 protein, 1 carb, 1 milk, etc) and I was never hungry! Hubs would come home from work and ask what I wanted for dinner and would get very grumpy replies from me. I just didn't want to eat.

For some reason I lost a lot of my appetite while pregnant, yet somehow still gained 40 pounds! My one major vice was brownie dough (made with pasteurized Egg Beaters!) I probably indulged about once a week. I'd eat half then bake half, though the baked ones always got thrown away!

OMG! I'm not sure if it's because we're having girls Bee, but I'm with you on eating all the "bad" foods. With #1, I didn't crave anything bad but still gained 35 lbs. I'm hoping with #2 I'm be only up 25 lbs and I'm trying my best to not go crazy on food (there are times when I have 2 meals between lunch and dinner). :P

I was so good during my first and second trimesters, but I have been pigging out in my third trimester! It's like my stomach is an endless pit of hungry and it wants sweeeeeets daily (and I'm not a sweets person). It also didn't help that a 5 guys opened down the street, and I ate a double cheeseburger with fries pretty much every day.

I want to gain as little weight as possible since I only have less than 4 weeks left, but food is so hard to resist!

Have you been pigging out too?
