I like to be punctual, but since having a baby we aren't as punctual as we used to be. Now that some time has passed since becoming parents, we are getting better about being on time or early again.

If the timing is up to me and not the buses and traffic, then I'm early. That way I don't feel rushed when arriving somewhere.

I used to be always early or on-time about 10 years ago. I try really hard to be on time but sometimes traffic is horrible and unpredictable. So yeah, I'm late about 50% of the time. I wonder how it will be affected when I have kids.

TArdiness is a pet peeve of mine. I'm always early.. even with a LO in tow.
I have been a few minutes late to appts with people because of the baby, but I always make sure to text/call if I am.

Being late was one of my pet peeves, so I always used to be on time/early. I find it's harder to be punctual in the infant stage though because I have to get ready to go out, and then pump before I leave, so it takes me quite a while to get ready. I definitely have been late more since having kids, but for the most part I'm still pretty punctual. My friends understand though because they have kids and are late too!

I'm on Asian time (aka, always late), but not to the point where it's horrible. Just 10-15 minutes usually. I always time it to leave my house at the LAST possible moment, but then of course I hit traffic or I forget my phone, etc.

I'm sure my friends and family hate it.

What am I missing? I used to be 15 minutes early everywhere I went. Now that I have a baby, not so much. She always tends to poop and and be hungry right when it's time to leave. So now I'm usually on time, if not late.

I always have to be early for everything. I cannot stand being late...my mom was always late for everything and it bothered me so much that I've made an effort to time things out accordingly, especially with children.

Being late is one of my pet peeves, and I make the best effort to always arrive early. It pains me to even get there on time just in case I'm making someone else wait for me.

Having a kid hasn't changed my need to arrive on time. I just plan accordingly, and it takes twice as long to get out of the house.

I'm actually MORE punctual now that I have a child. I used to always be late to everything :-/ Now I'm so organized I have how long getting ready takes down to a science, so I'm like a drill instructor "Shoes on, grab your juice, find Mr. Bear, coat is being zipped, hop in your car seat" and off we go.

@Cyndistar3: That reminds me of what my dad used to always say: "If you're early you're on time, if you're on time your late, late your left, left your lost, lost you're screwed."

I hate being late!!!!!! But feeling like poo most of the 1st trimester I gave myself some leeway b/c it took so long for me to actually get myself away from feeling like puking to actually getting ready. lol

Now that I'm feeling better, I'm back to early again =)

I am notoriously late, and it's one of my worst flaws. The more I don't want to do something (i.e. go to work, go to the dentist, etc.), the later I am. Having Boots has actually helped me be a little more punctual, because I know I'm going to need much more time to get her ready to go. But when Boots isn't with me or isn't coming along, I'm my usual half-crazed, arrive-at-least-5-minutes-late mess.

"early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable"-My Husband. I have never one to be actually late but right on time. My husband ALWAYS has to be early for everything lol... It did not change when we had a baby.

Growing up I hated being late. My dad would actually take me to school then go back and get my (pokey) sister and drive her to the exact same school because it was panic inducing for me to be late. Then, I hit college and I started caring a lot less. That's not to say I was always late but I started to get a better sense of things where I needed to be on time or early versus things where it didn't really matter much. Then, I married my husband who comes from a family or chronic early arrivers. I have learned that if his family says they're coming over at 10:00 they will arrive at 9:30. It's still slightly annoying to me because even if I show up at 9:55 which is technically early then I feel like I'm late because they've already been there for 25 minutes.

Oh gosh. I am ALWAYS early. I would rather be super early than late. I remember having anxiety one time because I was running late for a meeting at work. I was probably 5 minutes late and I was really upset. Hahaha.

Mr. Bear always makes fun of me because I leave earlier than I have to for work. I live 5 minutes from work, but I leave about 20 minutes before I have to clock in. I enjoy taking my time when I get to work to get settled, get my water, and talk with the day shift.

I hate being late so I always try to be on time or early. I would rather be the one waiting than the one holding things up.

Luckily, having a baby hasn't changed this about me. I find that I can still be punctual. I just have to leave more time to get things done.
