I an ready to stop wondering if this feeding will hurt or not, dealing with clogged ducts, worrying about whether I'm pumping or not, having to always be the go-to person when he's hungry, not being able to leave the house and leave lo at home with DH without having milk on hand. But I'm not ready to end the bonding and the sense of pride that I can feed my child so easily, that he's gaining tons of weight and that I'm giving him all these health benefits. Also not ready to give up the fact that it, ya know, doesn't cost anything.

Totally and we have made it to almost 2 years. I can't wait for his birthday because the next day we are done. I am doing this for me because I am sure if he had his way, he would nurse forever. I think I was really over it at about 21 months.

I am!!!! At 7 months, I'm just completely over pumping at work. I am also completely over the night time wakings when DH gets to stay snuggled in the bed and I have to get up multiple times. I think about supplementing everyday.

I'm pretty much ready to be done. I love nursing, and I've had zero problems. I'm ready to have my body back though. I'm also still always worrying about supply, even though I've got lots of milk sitting in the freezer and it has never been an issue. 6 weeks, then we're cutting down to two feedings.

I am kind of ready to be done but then I'm not.... I love bfing and it is easy for me but sometimes I wish I could leave lo for more than a few hours at s time. She is 9 months old now and really it is just a comfort thing since she eats food all day long lol!

Yes and no. I hate pumping with my whole being, and I miss having my body be my own. I'd really like to go out one night and have a few drinks and stay out late, I'm mature... I know. But I love the time nursing time we have. He went through his nipple stretching phase, and now he's generally pretty cooperative when I nurse him. I know I'll miss it when I stop, but also that there will be some perks to stopping.

yes!! She is 13 months and we're down to 1-2 sessions a day, but if I never nursed her again I wouldnt miss it at all. I've had literally ZERO issues this entire time other than the usual bumpy road at the beginning because BFing is hard. I'm just ready to have my body back.

Sort of. I know I'll miss it whenever I do - and am so so thankful that I've had an easy go of it. At 4 months he is starting to get distracted and I feel like I'm wrestling an alligator to keep my nipple from being stretched like silly putty and making sure he actually eats. Sometimes I actually enjoy our middle of the night nursing because he is snuggly and cooperative!!

I did quit. I made it to four months and selfishly wanted my body back. I was just sort of over it. I feel bad because I know many want to bf and can't or didn't have enough in terms of supply, but I just didn't want to any more, and mentally it was better for me to switch to FF.

I go through phases of wanting to quit since most of the time i feel like i'm the only one looking after lo. I like the ease of just getting the boob out if she's hungry in the middle of the night etc instead of having to go make up a bottle of formula. lo is 6 months and has started getting teeth so if biting becomes a problem then i'll give up. i've been super lucky and haent had any issues so far which makes me want to take advantage of it for as long as possible.

I AM!!

I would prefer sweet snuggles to nuzzling for boobs any day. Some nights after her bath, I can get M to snuggle with me a bit before she gets antsy for her evening nurse session. I'm at the point where I just want to snuggle, I'm tired of my boobs being used as feeding tubes. :)
