I'm the opposite in that I had gained weight right before ttc. I think that is part of the reason I didn't gain that much while pregnant- under 30. I lost about 20 pounds in the first couple of weeks and now at 6 weeks pp am only a couple pounds from my immediate pre preg weight but I'm squishier. I'd like to drop another ten to feel better about how I look but I'm not in a rush. So yes I'm satisfied for this point but I hope to be better in six months.

I weigh in at my PP weight but am certainly not as toned or comfortable with my body as I was before. I could be doing more but I just don't have the motivation!

No, im not, but i am working hard at my diet and exercise and praying for patience! 4 months post partum and still have 30 lbs to lose. I've lost 20 so far (and that was in the immediate 2 weeks after delivery). While I haven't been losing weight since then, my body seems to be re arranging itself. My thighs are getting skinnier and I *think* my hips are going back in place...

@oliviaoblivia: I'm super jealous of you! 22 pounds under?! And here I am just hoping to SOMEDAY be to my prepreg weight.

@mrsjyw: oh yeah...at 6 weeks I was only down seven pounds...after having a five and a half pound baby. I cried. I'm hoping that I will start losing here soon at a faster rate.

@valentinemommy: I am glad someone can relate! I think that it makes a difference if you had just lost weight and then it going right back up being pregnant...but who knows. It is so frustrating. Are you working out?

Like you, I lost weight before getting pregnant....I lost 20 pounds and was at my lightest. Now, I'm 7m pp and can not for the life of me lose the last 12 pounds. It's really frustrating.

I'm happy. I'm at pp weight, but would like to lose another five or so to get back to my zexy weight! :) Def softer than prebaby, but I was able to wear a bikini on our family vaca last month at 8 months pp, comfortably.

ETA: i gained 40 lbs and only lost 12ish lbs for the first 6 weeks? (and that's after having an almost 9 lbs baby)... I Gradually lost over the last few months (with the most probably from month 4-6).

Totally not happy with it! I gained 50, lost 20 immediately (water weight) and at almost 10 weeks out, am still up almost 25pounds. Boooo :( I had lost quite a bit of weight before TTC, so I know it will take extra work to get down there, but I did expect the scale to move when I started walking and went back to work!

I'm pleasantly surprised at how it has gone away. I lost a bunch immediately, stalled for a few months, cleaned up my diet, and am now 22 below prepreg at 8 months pp. Still have a squishy belly but I'm not stressing about when that'll tighten up.

Meh, I've stopped caring, haha. I'm still 10 lbs above pre-preg weight, but I'm not really working at dropping the pounds, so I can't blame them for sticking around. I'm 6.5 months pp.

I still need to lose 12-20lbs at 8 months pp.
We're done having kids and I know it'll come off eventually, so not gonna stress too much :)

I'm happy now, but I'm 9 mo pp. It was really slow-going around 4 mo pp but it finally all came of by 6 mo, I'd say. I feel like I'm back to my old self and feel good about my body. Except I think my butt may be a tad bigger as some of my jeans are a little bit tighter than I remember. ;)

I'm pretty happy...at 13 weeks I've lost the weight and fit in most of my clothes but my mid-section needs some attention at the gym! A little too wiggly for my liking.

Yes, because I have no idea how much I weigh :)

I stepped on a scale once during my 6 week checkup and haven't since. That was 9 months ago.

Ugh no, but it's only been 4 weeks.
Before I got pregnant I was still 7 lbs from my previous pre pregnancy weight. I've lost all but 4lbs from this last pregnancy bringing my total to my goal pre pre pregnancy to 11lbs. Then it needs to be toned up ;)

With you postpartum weight loss? I feel like mine is going so slow..at five months pp I have about 12 pounds still left to go and am working my behind off trying to get there. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but right before getting pregnant I had lost 15 pounds and had been the thinnest I had been in years. I don't know if this is making it harder to get back to my prepregnancy weight.
