I use it for EVERYTHING! Anything basically that I can't sew with my machine...like If I have to fix a whole in something, I always use the blind stitch. I'm slowly trying to go through tutorials on Lynda.com to learn Photoshop and Illustrator, etc. (which will help me at work, too) and looking into resources where I can learn more design principles. But I'm worried that I lack a certain artistic gene that will make me lag behind in this field.</p> <p>It got me thinking, though, about what other people may be self-taught in. Graphic design? Professional photography? A musical instrument? Art? Etc. Anything you didn't go to school or take lessons for but you now pursue as a hobby/living or are in the process of. And what was your process? </p>
