I'm not surprised though :) </p> <p>One that does surprise me is a friend that I met at a part time job almost a decade ago. I read at her wedding and we're both married and have kids now. I never would've thought back then that we'd be so close and at the same place in life at the same time. It's inspiring to see people be good friends! Makes me want to be a better friend.</p> <p>Other friends that I felt a real connection to have faded away as time goes by.</p> <p>The funny thing is that I'm not surprised which of my friends have faded away... but I'm pretty surprised at which of my friends have stood the test of time.
