We will most definitely teach our future LOs how to use chopsticks... it's in my blood (Korean)... and DH is better at it than I am (he's Caucasian). We eat lots of chopstick-related meals :)

Definitely and I think I need to get those Pororo training chopsticks too!!!! I want to make sure LO holds them properly because I still don't. =( I don't remember my parents teaching me but my parents say I hold them wrong just like my uncle did. I "can" hold them correctly if I want to but I suck at eating with them that way. If only you guys saw how I hold them you would shake your head. Sigh....

Awesome! She plays with them and I take pics of her but that's the extent. She's just getting the hang of a spoon.
@artbee I use chopsticks decently, but the 'wrong way'.

@mrbee: It's pretty good but not perfect - they cross each other and are not parallel like they should be.

@mrbee: @Rubies: I don't remember practicing either.. I used to hold my chopsticks wrong for the longest time. One day I started using them correctly.

@chopsuey119: They are pretty dope chopsticks!

Did you ever have to practice using your chopsticks to move grains of rice from one pile to another? Ah, memories.

Charlie has been practicing using these chopsticks with finger holes in them:

http://www.amazon.com/Pororo-Edison-Training-Chopsticks-Children/dp/B001LXWOCC/

Tonight he ate half of his dinner with the chopsticks! Without the chopsticks, he probably wouldn't have eaten at all (he's not feeling that great). It was a very exciting dinner for us all haha.

Are you teaching your LO to use chopsticks?
