I knew he had zero experience with children and was like "okay, we'll see." We still don't have kids yet, but since we got our pets I am concerned that he will be a major softie with our future children. He spoils the pets rotten and feeds them junk food when I'm not around because "she was so cute!" The pets totally know the score and act way worse for him than for me. Mr. T will say, "It's time for bed," and he means it. He will give a snuggle and a kiss, but then it's lights out. If Ellie asks me for one more kiss, or to cuddle for a while, I usually will.<br /> My parents were both strict. But I thought of my dad as being "mean" and didn't think of my mom that way as much. But everyone wrote "Mrs. Twine's mom is a bitch" in my HS yearbook because she was really strict and it made me embarassed. And then I had to try to keep the yearbook away from my mom. It was a riff on the whole Southpark Cartman's mom thing, but they did mean it. Before having LO I thought DH would be more strict then me, but that's not the case. My dad was the lenient one with my younger brother and sister. I'm a little jealous at all the thing they get to do but I was never allowed.</p> <p>At my current job, I'm totally the strict one and the parents are very lenient.
