It annoys me when other people are late so I try to be there at least 5 minutes earlier. I usually give myself an extra 10 minutes to account for traffic etc so I usually end up sitting in the car waiting for 5 minutes before the arranged time. I feel guilty if I'm more then 2 minutes late. With a toddler, I am now punctual and will arrive usually on time or slightly early. I just can't stand being late. There is this called Asian time that I had no idea about till I was in college, and would show up an hour early where the host told people 2 hours early to what she wanted so I was really 3 hours early... so embarrassing, like I had nothing better to do. I thought I was showing respect coming early. I usually end up helping out but a lot of hosts don't want help too.
