This topic is the BAIN of my existence. I want to be organized but its a constant battle. As soon as you lay one thing down and don't put it in the proper spot....all hell breaks loose. I spent my ENTIRE weekend cleaning because I was out of town the weekend prior and its just....depressing. I start to think its not worth it and rebel, but then the whole house becomes atrocious. Its an unsolvable problem. </p> <p>Best advice I have though is try to keep things where you use them. Moving a few months ago helped us clean out a lot, and I just went through the kids' toys and got rid of the useless stuff. I'm itching to clean out their closets for spring /summer, but we're not quite there yet. There's a Goodwill depot at the dump, so we donate whatever we can and get rid of the rest at the dump.</p> <p>We've been working on clearing out all the boxes of stuff that we've accumulated on our basement. So, for example, this past weekend we took come old dishes, two old carpets from our university days and a broken steam mop.
