I'm planning on his baby book and hope to document his year of firsts with a calendar. We also plan on keeping many videos documenting firsts, funny stories, family moments; not only if something tragic happened to my husband or myself, but so we as a family can remember and enjoy the memories we share. </p> <p>In response to the original topic, I won't be doing a wedding video for our little guy. One for my because I have my own personal dislike for wedding videos/montages etc. Secondly, should my son get married and I not be fortunate to be there, he will know how much I loved him, from his memories, from his father, what family members share with him etc. I'm sure that my death and inability to be present on one of the biggest days of his life will be in the forefront of his mind, he won't need a presentation to bring it to everyone else's attention. </p> <p>@Mr.Bee I'm sure this post was 1/2 kidding? But before I die, I will have given Mrs. Bee a video montage of Charlie's best-slash-most-embarrassing videos, and narrated it. I'll start off saying something like, "Charlie, this is your dad. I've been hard at work for the past 5 years capturing your most embarrassing moments... and have compiled them for you and all of your closest friends."</p> <p>Then all these awesome videos will play with a tearjerker song in the background, and I'll end by saying something, "Son, I love you so much and it has been an honor watching you grow up." But I will have already died, so everyone will realize that I didn't really watch him grow up and start crying... and they'll say, "Wow, what foresight Mr. Bee had to make this video when Charlie was only five years old!"</p> <p>Then that sucker will go up on YouTube (or whatever is popular in the 2030s) and it will get half a trillion views and Mrs. Bee can live off the royalties.</p> <p>If I live long enough to make it to Charlie's wedding, I just won't tell anyone about the video I made when he was five. Same goes for the video I plan to make for Olive's video.</p> <p>What do you think of my master plan?? </p>
