It's funny, though, the level of education doesn't always correlate with the income level. We can only guess but I think we're all around the same? We never talk about money or how much we make, etc. And it's never easy to tell by looking at someone's house/cars/etc because they could be living a fancy life with tons of debt, which isn't any better than someone who lives a moderate life with no debt.</p> <p>I think we're all around the same? We probably have more in our savings/investment account and more equity in our home because my husband is a former pro athlete so we built up some good savings. But now, we earn about the same as our friends. However, my husband's closest friends from high school all do not have college degrees and are certainly in a lower socioeconomic bracket than we are. We have friends who just bought a house twice as big and twice as expensive then ours, but now they can never go out and do anything because they can't afford it. I feel like we are varying degrees of "poor" though, since many of our single friends don't have many obligations or goals they are saving for, and can spend more freely. They are not actually rich, but they do make the most money out of all of us.
