The younger ones (by a few years) are in the engaged/getting married phase. We look like the sages among them with being married 4.5 years with a toddler. </p> <p>The friends we've been with since we met years ago are at the same phase we are at. A lot of them have kids and have been married for some time. We have a handful of friends who just had their first, and one couple is pregnant now. I'd say most of our closest friends are married or engaged, or in long-term/cohabitating relationships, but two of my closest friends and two of dh's closet friends are single.
