One couple in particular had been married over 10 years &amp; had one child. It was really really emotionally challenging for my hubs and I bc they were CLOSE friends, so it oddly felt like we were going through a break up too! Only advice I have is to just ride the waves with your friends. They have two kids under 3. We know about another couple with no kids that separated this summer, and another childless couple that divorced last year. They were all married 4-6 years. Does anyone else have married friends who are splitting up and know how to handle it? Both DH and I have parents who are still married, so divorce is something we are not very familiar with. </p>
