That’s a huge fear of both my husband and I – honestly, the thought of having to spend hours a week at various little kid sports activities sounds less appealing than going to the dentist.</p> <p>Neither my husband or I are into sports of any kind (we watched the Pats game yesterday, which was the first game of any sport we watched since the Superbowl last year, which we only watched part of). My dad had 2 girls, and we both love football more than our husbands, but DH has jumped right on board. (That's where we're both from originally.) We'll raise our kids to be Boston sports fans, and I think we'll both be very sad if they ultimately decide to root for non-Boston teams. Rest assured, there will be plenty of summer trips to see Red Sox games while we're visiting the grandparents in Boston. We both majored in sport management in college. Prior to having our LO I went to a majority of the events to spend time with him. Once LO is a little older I plan to take her along with me. I am more of a hardcore NFL fan than he is. We both enjoy the sport of football and baseball. We could really go either way on hockey and basketball.</p> <p>I think we'll bring our girl up to enjoy sports and to pick a favorite team, like we did when we were kids. We don't have any pro sports in our town (other than hockey), but we do have some great minor league baseball teams. I think we'll be spending a lot of time at baseball games and watching our favorite teams play football at home.</p> <p>We might even find ourselves at a college game or two since that is really big here in the south. It's not something that my husband and I pay much attention to, but it is definitely something we would like to expose our LO to.</p> <p>Is anyone else planning on bringing up a little sports fan? </p>
