DH's parents are not savy at all. My grandparents just recently started getting more techie; they all have iPads, smartphones, text like crazy, etc. Big step up for one of my grandmothers who was absolutely afraid to touch a computer when I was young, to the point that if I left it on and left her house she would call me to come and shut it off if my grandfather wasn't home, lol. Now she knows how to "google" and check emails, texts me often. My mom has a Kindle and a Mac computer which work well for her. They still have some performance issues with their network. It's usually fixed by DH who has help desk experience. </p> <p>My ILs are super tech savvy as FIL does computer tech for their city government. MIL used to do similar work as well. Most days MIL tweets articles from Fox News and other news outlets about how awful Obama is or that tanning beds are worse cancer wise than being a lifelong smoker.
