It just seemed the most practical for us. Being able to wheel it through the doorway is awesome, since we have a one story home. I can just wheel it from our bedroom into the office or kitchen if I need to put him down. We also spend quite a bit of time at our family lake house and beach condo, so it doubles as a light, easy to maneuver pack n play. Hopefully it'll work perfectly. I had a cradle my dad made for DS next to my bed. I'd just get up and take DS to the living room. We had a make shift changing station in there, and I'd sit in the recliner while nursing him. I didn't really get the hang of nursing in bed throughout the night since DS didn't sleep in bed with us. In the morning hours (5am to 9am) I'd have DS in bed with me and I could nurse while dozing sometimes, but usually I'd have to get up. </p> <p>If you decide not to get the Arms Reach co sleeper, my suggestion is to get a basic pack n play. I did like the bassinet feature, since it was much easier to transfer DS while he was sleeping without having to bend all the way over. The Travel Lite crib is smaller that DS wouldn't be able to sleep comfortably in it past 10ish months. (Although he's a big boy, in 18-24 month clothes). I wanted it for traveling, since he'd be sleeping in it until he was into regular bed. The full size pack n plays won't fit through most doorways, but it hasn't been an issue for us. The drop side will make it much easier. </p> <p>The travel lite crib is a lot smaller than the co sleeper. It's meant to be a more portable pack n play so it is not as wide or long. What I don't know is if the travel crib, since it's such a similar design just without the drop down side will be enough for me to be able to just grab and feed her in the middle of the night and then put her back to sleep.</p> <p>Does anyone have any experience with either that they would be willing to share?
