I didn't want to be choosing an activity for him. So, I decided that the best place for him to do projects like playdoh and painting were in the kitchen. There is nothing in that area that I can not easily clean. So, I got several storage bins and put in the art supplies. We use those to store all of the art supplies (paint and play dough don't fit, so those are in a cabinet in the kitchen nook). Everything is organized in tubs in the drawers. DS has free access to them. What, if any, art supplies are easily accessible to your LO and what stays out of reach and needs permission for? I basically just have most things stuffed on top of or bookshelf and am looking for a better way! </p>
