We've read them both cover to cover.</p> <p>She also watches YT videos about our solar system that have the planets singing. They are so friggin' annoying. PBS has a new show about space called "Ready Jet Go!" My daughter loved going to Kennedy Space Center when she was young. She's doing great now learning about space. We've done astronaut training camp. He did moon jumps, rocket launch jumps, pretending to fly, "swimming" in the water after we land. It's a good way to tire him out! We have some space books, especially Magic School Bus. Or did school?</p> <p>(And how long does the astronaut phase last? I kind of hope forever...)</p> <p>Preschool read them a news article and talked a little. My son LOVES rockets and was so excited. DH picked him up from school and he said "Daddy I'm going to be an astronaut." Daddy explained that astronauts need to be good at math.... So my son bursts through the door, "HI MOMMY! I"M GOING TO LEARN MATH!!!!!" Now Daddy and kiddo are in the other room, working on "math" on the white board (counting and adding). This is the cutest thing ever.</p> <p>Are you and your little astronaut doing anything special today? Dress up? Math? Building or drawing space ships? </p>
